On February 2, 2013, the Vero Beach Museum of Art will present GALA2013: A Feast for the Masters celebrating the extraordinary exhibition The Golden Age of European Painting from the Speed Museum. A Feast for the Masters will feature all of the fanfare and luxury of a baroque promenade – from the whimsical sound of the lute and viola de gamba to the indulgent flavors of a feast fit for only the masters.
The evening will begin at 6pm in the Museum’s Holmes Great Hall with cocktails and the musical artistry of The Bob Hardwick Sound, the crème de la crème of high society entertainment. At 7pm, guests will dine throughout the Museum, while being charmed by strolling minstrels. We will return to the Great Hall for dessert extraordinaire and dancing to The Bob Hardwick Sound. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Museum’s fabulous exhibition, The Golden Age of European Painting from the Speed Art Museum from Louisville, KY. The 72 paintings include masterpieces by artists such as Rembrandt, van Dyke, Rubens and Gainsborough.
vent Co-Chairs Debbie Berghorst and Susan McCord promise a fun-filled evening with masterful flavors, fanciful sights and enjoyable sounds!
