Asbury Shorts USA is thrilled to announce their return to the Vero Beach Museum of Art on Saturday February 10, 2018 to present "The 36th Asbury Short Film Concert" at 1:30pm and then again at 7:30pm. The Asbury Short Film Concert features a non-competitive, fast paced and highly entertaining line up of the best in short film Comedy, Drama and Animation. The two-hour showcase will include specially selected Oscar Nominees, US film festival "Best of Show" winners and international honorees from the past & present. The program is hosted by Asbury Shorts Founder/Director Doug LeClaire. The program includes the movies spotlighted here along with many more.

Join our presenter Doug LeClaire, founder and director of Asbury Shorts USA, as he delivers a lively and informative lecture and screenings detailing the behind-the-scenes world of independent short film production and exhibition. In this seminar, Doug hand-picked eight of his all-time favorite independently produced short films to screen and discuss during the presentation. These films are made-up of eight major award-winning shorts selected from the world’s top film festivals including Oscar nominees, “Best of Show” and award winners from various US film festivals and international honorees.
Doug LeClaire is the Founder & Director of Asbury Shorts USA, a globally recognized touring exhibition of award winning short films now in its 36th year. Doug has served as a Guest Lecturer at The School of Visual Arts, New York Institute of Technology, Columbia University, Film / Video Arts, Upstate Independents, The Adirondack Film Society, The Lake Placid Film Forum, The Linda Performing Arts Center in Albany, NY; The New School for Social Research, The Garden State Film Festival in New Jersey and One Day University where his seminars have taken place at The CUNY Grad Center in Manhattan, LOOK Cinemas in Texas co-presented by The Dallas Morning News, the Mahaffey Theater in Tampa, Florida and Harkin Theatres in Phoenix, Arizona in conjunction with The Arizona Republic.

Occasionally, programs are cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the Museum’s control. When this occurs, you may elect to have your reservation honored for the rescheduled date or you may receive a refund if applicable. In some cases, the performance contract may set refund limitations. All refunds or exchanges are subject to a $10 non-refundable convenience fee.
