What a great way to meet people and really make a difference!

The Friends of the Vero Beach Museum of Art is a group of volunteers who, for more than 30 years, have helped to build and sustain the primary cultural arts facility along the Treasure Coast. The Friends was founded in 1979 by Jean Armstrong as the Community Committee, and has grown in size and scope over the years. But their objective remains the same - to support the Museum's mission to provide cultural leadership and enrichment for the Vero Beach community.

Become a Friend and Get Involved!

The Museum Store, library, youth and adult programs, special events and administration are a few of the volunteer opportunities available at the Museum throughout the year - it just depends on your schedule and interests! Additionally, during the winter months, volunteers may attend FOCUS gatherings (Friends' Opportunities, Cultural Updates and Social Gatherings), hour-long sessions planned to "focus" on upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, introduce new Friends' members, and provide mission-based cultural programs for the group's enjoyment.

All Friends must be active members of the Museum. If you are interested in applying, please download the Friends Application Form and return it to the Museum. Once your application is received, you will be contacted to by a Friend who will assist you in finding a volunteer opportunity that will be suitable for your interests, schedule and talents.
